Nestled among the towering tree tops of Canada's west coast rain forest, you will find these innovative homes created by inventor Tom Chudleigh.
Using a combination of sail-rigging, boat construction and biomimicry technology, the pod-shaped spheres are suspended among the trees using strands.
Spiral stairways suspend to the ground providing access to the spheres. Built from cedar or fiber glass, the spheres are insulated and designed to withstand structural impacts

What is a good Art activity for Preschoolers having to do with Tree Houses?

There is many but one that comes to mind is make a tree house with popsicle sticks glueing them together and then have the kids color with paint around it then have the trunk made of clay put the popsicle tree house on top and then for a special touch you can have something small inside and the kids can give them to their parents like a gift! 
For a big whole class project you can get a big box every kid colors a part on the box house
